Calathea Ornata is also known as the 'Pinstripe Plant' for good reason, its elongated, dark green leaves are lined with electric pink stripes. Seeing this plant for the first time, it's hard to believe it's not been painted as the pinstripes are so delicate that they look like brushstrokes.
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Water: Keep soil consistently moist.
Tip: Prone to foliar fungal infections so make sure to keep leaves dry. If she gets spider mites or mealybugs treat them as soon as they appear with weekly sprays of horticultural (Neem) oil and regular wipe-downs of the plant.
