The Bird’s Nest Fern gets its name from its wide, rippled leaves which emerge from a central rosette that looks like a fuzzy, brown funnel. When new fronds first appear, they resemble tiny bird eggs, hence the nickname Bird’s nest.
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Water: These are true jungle plants. Keep their soil moist, but don't let the plant become soggy.
Tip: Avoid watering right into the "nest" as that encourages mold and rot. Water the soil rather than the plant.
*Each plant will vary slightly from photos.
